2	Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS The Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS) is a joint venture of the United Nations family that brings together efforts and resources of ten UN system organizations towards the prevention of new HIV infections, caring for people living with HIV, and to mitigate the impact of the epidemic. On its Philippines page, one can browse the latest UNGASS data on Philippines and the Philippines-Country Progress Report (April 2008), the estimated data on HIV and AIDS, UNAIDS/WHO/UNICEF epidemiological fact sheets of 2008, WHO 2008 report on tuberculosis and available publications. 3	United Nations Development Fund for Women UNIFEM is a UN agencies charged with helping countries move forward on the Millennium Development Goals, with the specific mandate to advocate for gender equality. Its page contains link to the Commission on the Status of Women 2009 and the various projects that deals with issues related to gender such as: governance, peace and security; HIV/AIDS; women, poverty and economics; human rights and the millennium development goals.	223
4	World Health Organization The World Health Organization (WHO) is the directing and coordinating authority for health within the United Nations system responsible for: providing leadership on global health matters, shaping the health research agenda, setting norms and standards, articulating evidence-based policy options, providing technical support to countries and monitoring and assessing health trends. On WHO's Philippines page, are information on WHO's work in the Philippines including, data and statistics on different health concerns and illnesses.	263
5	United Nations Population Fund UNFPA, the United Nations Population Fund, is an international development agency that promotes the right of every woman, man and child to enjoy a life of health and equal opportunity. Its page includes programs/projects on various gender-related issues and concerns. It also showcases latest news of positive strides towards gender equality, available publications and link to Inter-agency Task Force on Violence Against Women.	200
6	United Nations Children's Fund UNICEF is an agency of the United Nations devoted to serving the world’s children. On its Philippines webpage are updates on UNICEF's activities in the Philippines, UNICEF's partner organizations, its advocacies, stories from the field and photo essays. UNICEF, in its advocacy towards realization of every child's rights, recognizes also its relationship with the attainment of the rights of the mother.	212
7	The World Bank The World Bank is made up of 2 institutions owned by 185 member countries. It is a vital source of financial and technical assistance to developing countries around the world. On its Philippines webpage are outcomes of projects with the Philippine government, including success stories and economic updates.	314
8	United Nations Development Programme UNDP is the UN's global development network, an organization advocating for change and connecting countries to knowledge, experience and resources to help people build a better life. UNDP helps developing countries attract and use aid effectively. UNDP encourages the protection of human rights and the empowerment of women in all their activities.	269
